🥧 Frozen Tourtière — Baking Instructions (with Egg Wash)

❄️ Bake from frozen — Do not thaw

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Remove all packaging.

  3. Place the frozen tourtière on a baking sheet, on the middle rack.

  4. Lightly brush the top with egg wash

    (1 egg beaten with a small splash of water or milk).

    ⚠️ Brush the top only — do not brush the edges.

  5. Bake for 65 to 75 minutes.

🔎 Check for doneness

  • Crust should be deep golden brown.

  • Filling should be hot and fully heated through.

  • Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).​

🔄 Adjustments if needed

  • If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil for the last 15–20 minutes.

  • For a crispier bottom, place the baking sheet in the oven while preheating.

⚠️ Important notes

  • Do not microwave.

  • Cooking times may vary depending on oven.
